Done at local custom shop for a total of $583

Sounds great! You can feel it a bit in the back of the seat at the higher revs, but very smooth when cruising.

Love it. Car may not be a rocket, but it sure sounds like one LOL.

Nice. Which muffler did you use? Is this your only mod or do you have an intake too?

The muffler is a magnaflow. Are you looking for the part number? I know it's single 2.5in input and dual 2.25in out. And yes I do have the RRM Intake too. Really completes the setup.

Very nice, Im considering visiting a shop as well, especially one that can make good headers for it. Have you asked your shop if they do/ could do a header job on your Kizashi?

I didn't even think of it. After seeing this video

I figured it wasn't worth it.

Ofcourse that doesn't mean squat! I just can't justify the costs of these changes considering what you really get for it.

The Intake and Cat Back gives the car a much meaner sound. That's what I was going for. As far as performance, the difference is not significant enough to actually mention it. All you read about is 3, 6 hp gains. Thats pointless. The car needs a good 40 hp gain to feel just right. These add ons are not going to do that.

Anyway, enjoy and good luck!

Do you happen to know the size of the stock exhaust piping, and which size did you go with on your custom setup?

I don't remember now. Have to find the paperwork. I believe the stock pipe is 2.25in. The Magnaflow muffler used is #11148 2.25in in and dual 2in out.

Any chance you could post some up close pics of the muffler and piping? I considering a custom catback and wnated to see yours to give me a better indication of which muffler I should go with.

This is the video I took just after the install. Not the clearest, but you can see what was done.
