I would like to improve my exhaust with a little more growl without the annoying fart sound. Any suggestions?

Well the muffler I used is a single (centered) in and double out.

The original factory was single (centered) in and single (centered) out.

Has anybody experimented with different mufflers vs. an entire exhaust system? Im curious because it looks like it has 3 mufflers from underneath.

Yup, there are three mufflers as pictured in this post. A quick and easy way to change the sound of the exhaust is to replace the center muffler with a straight pipe, which any muffler shop can do. I have no idea what this sounds like on the Kizashi though, but it is reversible if you don't like the result

Here's a parts diagram if it helps. #5 would be the center muffler/resonator

Yes I have experimented with it. At first I took of the back two mufflers and it sounded like a Sti. I undid the resonator and this is the sound I got that and a high flow cat give you this sound. I get nothing but compliments every where I go.

Has any one just removed the resonator and kept the two stock mufflers?
