faster takeoff

Has anyone figured out how to make the cvt take off with a little more gusto? I love my car but the take off is soft.. being that I got the sls I couldn't get a stick.
I've tried pre-loading the revs up with the brake pedal mashed; I've tried using the manual mode; I've tried numerous varied throttle applications; I plan ahead.
Note to others: Try using the manual mode with the VSC OFF.
