Cold air or short ram air takes
The original design is already of a "cold air, short ram intake". The stock design funnels cold air from behind the grill via an intake and routes it to the airbox containing the air filter. If you want better performance, perhaps try a K&N filter for better airflow but the intake design is already what you're seeking. Also, there is very little in terms of aftermarket parts for the Kizashi. The only company I know of in the US went under. If you want to tune and mod your car, really, get something other than a Kizashi. I'm not trying to be an ass and the reality is there is just about nothing for the Kizashi in aftermarket support now. Even stock, OE parts are hard to find.
