looks nice but you are losing quite a lot of light output @ 8000K

I really like the 6000k HID's. I think they provide the best light without blinding oncoming cars also. Does anyone have 6000k HID's an how to you like them as compared to our halogen lights.

Depending on what wattage you go with, 6000K appear completely white with 55W kit and with a hint of blue with a 35W kit. If you want the BEST light output, dont go with anything more than 5000K

I have 6000K. I like them a lot, but as NorthernStar stated, lower kelvin temp actually outputs more visible light. Optimal is actually around 4300K and that is why many OEM are that color temp.
6000K offers a more pure white, but there is a little loss of usable light on the road, especially at the cut off. 8000K has even greater loss and the light tint is noticeably blue. It's more for aesthetics and you will never find a factory car with 8000K HID as they are not outputting optimal light (less safe).

Over 8000K is a joke and should be only for show. Those are like the purple and pink lights.

These lights have been great. Not worried about the people coming the other way, I just enjoy the blue color and the fact I can see well at night.

Yeah who cares about oncoming traffic if you have HIDs youl be able to see them blindly swerving into your lane from a mile away.

Haven't had any of that happen. LOL But no one has flashed me with these lights since I've had them. They have been 100%.
