I think it looks a lot better tinted.

That's what my car looked like when I bought it.
Unfortunately, the super dark tints did not pass inspection and had to come off.

I am going to get it retinted, but something lighter (which I prefer anyways). I like the smoked look so I will probably go with 35%.

Regardless, nice looking car. Nice to see another black 'Zashi. The car also has blacked out tail lights?

Thanks!
Yes I blacked out all three lights on the back and the ugly sidemarks upfront.

She did 5% in the back and 20% on the rest of them.

Care to mention how you blacked out the tail lights, 3rd brake light, and side markers?

I'm looking to do this to all lenses on my wife's Kizzy and I've seen several different ways to do it.

Did you use tint or smoked vinyl? Did you do it yourself?

Thanks!

I'm curious about the smoked tailights as well. What's the best method for doing this ?

I'm not a fan of blacked out lights in back... b/c I can't see people's BRAKE lights... but I must say it's pretty attractive.

I did it my self with VHT spray can. If you do it that way make sure to clean it super good. I use prep spay first. Then at the end you should clear coat them to stay that way.

Blacked out tails looks ridiculously good with that black Kiz, I'm in awe.

I don't like it with any other color of car though, and it's not legal here; you have to keep at least part of the light that reflects uncovered for the exact reason Soviet mentions above.

I also have 20% around my Kiz and my Civic before this. It's the perfect tint IMO. Funny story, on the freeway drive home at night from purchasing my Kiz, I kept being blinded by passing cars. I thought through my head for a moment, WTF is with the glare in my side mirrors? Then it hit me that the car was not tinted like my Civic was. Got tint later that week, problem solved. You un-tinted drivers don't know what they're missing, not to mention the cooler temps under hot sunlight.
