I have the exact same vehicle but in black and my experiences of learning about it to purchasing it mirror yours, but I was roughly 3 years ahead.
While I haven't driven the CVT model, I do believe the manual transmission helps the car become more of a "driver's car". However, the AWD variant of this car is only offered with the CVT and many owners praise the AWD system for its grip in all road conditions.

Interesting! Where did you get the custom billet grill? I have been looking everywhere, but I do not like the ones available ...

I got the grille on eBay, a seller named utvproducts, a couple of years ago. Somehow they don't have this grille listed on there anymore. Anyway, you could still probably contact them and see if they can cut one out for your.

Do you have any closeup shots of the grill? That would be an interesting fix to those of us with the paint chipping issue on the grill.
