West Central Indiana. We'd LOVE to have more participation, but I realize there aren't many of us in the area. These pictures were taken in Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute Indiana. Across the river is Illinois! LOL I'm going to try and plan something for early May in conjunction with Club SX4 (they have several more members in my area) to include some cruising and a couple pretty cool car museums in the area. If it's still functioning, I thought about ending the evening at one of the original 60's drive-in theaters! It was open last year, but I heard they had some trouble with the digital conversion this year, so opening is still questionable...

Anyway, I'll have more info to come, and I certainly hope some of you can make it!! (I'll include lodging info and such. Plus, there will be lots of camping opportunities.)

but it's a nice drive!! LOL

I wish there would be a good Kizashi turnout. There are ZERO in our area (I'm married to the Kizashi model in the pictures and I had to drive 730 miles round trip to get hers!) so I have never actually driven/ridden in a CVT or AWD Kizashi before. I also haven't heard a non-RF or navigation stereo either. I was kind of hoping to experience more Kizashi-ness. I did get to ride in a 6MT SX4 sport sedan for the first time though! I would also happily extend an invitation to anyone that has yet to experience an SX4 up close. We talk a lot about the differences and similarities, but it's better to see it in person.

There is a VERY nice campground and marina attached to the Lake we are thinking of having the meet. Maybe some of you could make an inexpensive weekend out of it?

Cool! The blue SX4 appears to have quite a bit done to it. Any details?

The blue SX4 belongs to the fat guy married to the Kizashi model... (AKA-Me...) LOL

Most of the "mods" I've done to it are either cosmetic or stereo really, but thanks for noticing! I have the following:

K&N panel filter
painted wheels (but they definately need a new coat!)
Generic roof rack with Thule faring and locks
Chinese vehicle-specific DVD\GPS head unit (It's AMAZING BTW!)
Pioneer Coaxles all around (wanting to replace ASAP)
MTX powered 12" sub in the trunk (also AMAZING!)
35% tint
I have OR ralley-style lights for it, but I haven't found the right mounting bar yet...
Authentic Suzuki-Sport windsheild banner, and Suzuki Factory Racing tank decals shipped strait from Suzuki Japan (thanks to the Kizashi Model!!)

Other than being in desparate need of new tires, that's about it. I'm thinking of maybe a set of General Grabbers as soon as the tax return comes in as well as the light bar. Thinking of trying LED headlights (they are reflector-type so HIDs would be blinding to on-coming traffic) and a Magnaflo of Flowmaster exhaust. I have always said that if anything ever happened to the engine, I would replace it with a J20B block with a J24B head from the Kizashi, assuming that's possible. I have a while to find that out though as the car only has 65,000 miles on it!

How about a mini-meet in the Midwest?? (After the snow melts!) I'm in Minneapolis. 2012 SLS Azure Grey.

Me and some of the guys on the Clubsx4.com forums are getting together in May in Central Illinois. We're going to have cars from as far away as Detroit there and maybe some from further away when we dates and stuff all nailed down. It looks like maybe May 24th as a tentative date and of course Kizashi of all types are invited!! This is about as close to MN as I can get, but it would be cool if a few Kizashi-ers could make it...
