Come to think of it, I don't ever recall seeing a first-gen Altima in red. Most I've seen were white.

Too bad tint laws in Utah are only 55% for the front. However, it seems to me that enforcement is really up to the police officer and what he thinks about you or how you are driving. They just use it as an excuse to pull you over for other reasons and cops will admit this if you know them.

I like the OEM accessory roof racks for the Kizashi as they are Whispbars (made by Yakima) and have an aerodynamic design that's also good-looking. They are a must-have you are a cyclist, skier, snowboarder, etc.
I also really like how the Kizashi's roof was designed to incorporate them so they don't use clamps and actually bolt right in.
I've seen people here with much darker front tints, but I don't want to push my luck. I'm supposed to have a front license plate (law) but that ain't gonna happen.

And yeah I'm a semi-serious biker as is my brother, and we live 3 hrs from Moab. So the rack definitely gets a lot of use. Plus it's my only car. Better than trying to squeeze a muddy bike into the trunk. It's a well-designed rack, I don't hear a peep from it at highway speeds and it doesn't affect my mileage, I've seen 30+ mpg with the bike at freeway speeds.

Yep. That one in the picture is a 94, even though it has the 95+ front grille on it. I actually don't believe they made them in red in 94, so this could be a painted one. The red ones were quite clean from behind, especially when the 95+ taillights were used to eliminate the amber reflector.

They brought back the red on the 2nd gen and I looked at getting a special edition SE, but it had a body kit on it and an exhaust I wasn't feeling, so I passed. No regrets. 8-)

Maybe it's the picture but that looks darker than I expected. The car looks good though!

Is the veneer standard kit? Please get rid of the steering wheel cover, it looks dreadful. Love the wheels though

Aftermarket kit put in at an accessory shop. Can't get rid of steering wheel cover wife gave it to me. All four wheels and tires only cost me 14 hundred installed

The wood trim is an available Suzuki accessory. It's offered in either Graywood or Redwood Burl.
Here's a thread on it.

Ebay sells some aftermarket ones for the Kizashi as well which offer a whole lot more color and pattern options, but consist of far fewer pieces.

Actually, upon reviewing the linked thread more, I think that was an aftermarket trim kit, not an OEM accessory. Regardless, jono no longer owns that Kizashi.

It is a veneer kit put on aftermarket. There are two different sets. One with more pieces than the other. I have the kit with the lesser pieces
