Well it was actually really simple. I just bought a 15mm X 16 FT Universal Chrome Strip on ebay, cut it at the right angle and put it directly on the mirror. There is some 3m adhesive inside the strip. I mean... the adhesive is not holding properly on the mirror's corner so I had to make it a little bit shorter (noticible if you are really looking for it, it does not look like it came from the manufacturer). I just wanted to see how it would look and I really like it. I will leave them on for a while until they fall off (probably a few months) and I will buy a chrome strip same size with a better adhesive.

Very cool. Definitely let us know what you find works for a longer-term more factory look. I think it's a nice accent that would have worked very well on the SLS even from the factory.
