No,they actuallt didn't repaint the caps because when you usually paint the wheels you should remove the caps so that the paint can come through the opening from where the caps seat.. Or at least I suppouse. :)

However, the clear coat is applied on the rims, I see it because the rims are a bit shiny on a direct light...

I really think that is such a shame that Suzuki did such a poor job with Paint on Kizashi, above all on the rims....

Since January I invested some money in my Kizzy and I don't regret at all cause I plan to keep the car for another 2 to 3 years. As I previously wrote, I repainted the summer Rims in silver, and put the new Kumho summer tyres on it. One of my Xenon Headligh bulb was defect, So i replaced both ot them as well as the standing light bulbs which I replaced with small LEDs which now looks way better in combination with Xenon.

I also had the repaint the entire Bonnet, because the small traces of Rust begin to show up on the edges of the front side. The guys had to cut the metal where the rust showed, weld it again, and the entire Hood is repainted in order to stop the corossion from spreading further. The quality of the Paint job and the protection against the rust is so far my only serious remark on the car. Everything else from mechanical, electronic, electric and other systems on the car are working perfectly fine.

I also changed the Engine Oil, Oil filter, Cabine and Engine Air filter, Manual Transmission fluid (didn't put the Redline cause it had to be imported from over seas) and the front Brake pads. The Mechanic told me that the Transmission fluid was a bit brownish so I suppose that it wasn't changed ever before and the car is now 10 years old. The Battery had to be changed as well, because the old one began to surrender.

I didn't make some newer Photos cause I didn't actually changed the looks on the car. I just keep it stock and clean and try to keep it in as good as possible mechanical condition. I was asked from some relatives did we buy a new car recently. I laughed a little bit, cause it's only a 10 year old used car, but obviously good maintained.

After 2 years of owning the car, I still love it like I did the first day I bought it and looking forward to any trip that I am going to make with this rare but remarkable car....

I'd like to see a photo of your Kizashi as inspiration. I also plan to keep my Kizashi for years (at least several more) so I'm considering a front bumper and hood repaint too. You're absolutely right that the Kizashi has awful paint and even with good care, it's just prone to damage from everyday conditions. Thankfully, the car makes up for it with solid mechanicals and good reliability.

Today I had some extra free time so I decided to take care of engine bay. Beside the metal Bar that holds the Battery and has a bit rust on it, now it looks more or less like new. :)

Looking good. I recently cleaned my engine bay as well. The "Suzuki" paint on the engine cover has flaked off considerably on mine over time.
