That is a good point KuroNekko. actually this week we will go to Illam province to a place called 'Shirez Canyon' much similar to 'Grand Canyon' but on a smaller scale of course.

hello.
car at 180,000Km time to change the drive belt. it's never changed from the factory around 11 years part number for the belt is 17521-57L01-000
also, I bought a tensioner back in 2018 part number for that is 17540-54L00-000.
1- remove the right wheel
2- remove the lower fender plastic trim to access to the drive belt.
3- use 14mm to lose the belt
it's really amazing how good this belt lasted over 11 years. I will keep this old belt as a spare.
all bearing looks good except the tensioner bearing so I decided to change the whole tension in order to remove the old tensioner I need to remove the water pump just for 1 silly bolt so I decider to just change the tensioner bearing simply by removing one 12mm bolt. and put new belt.

Saeed, I find the tensioner in need of replacement or adjustment long before the belt needs replaced. That tensioner is a silent killer of these Suzuki Kizashi and the sx4 (10-13). Yours is probably still ok given the current mileage but it at least should be checked and its easy enough to do. Rotate the engine using the 19mm crank bolt counter clockwise while watching the drive belt at the tensioner pulley. A new original or high quality copy will have the belt squarely riding the pulley . A worn one and you will see the belt climbing outward. If you can rotate the crank 6 revolutions and the belt hasnt jumped a rib on the crank pulley then its still safe to drive. Ive seen too many of these fail risking engine damage and I wouldnt want that to happen to you. The top tensioner bolt looks like it doesnt clear but it always does. A 10mm 1/4 dr snap-on socket with a short wobble extension or certain brand offset box wrench and then an open end when the bolt head skims the water pump pulley.

The new tensioner that I bought is OE I guess it is better to remove that top bolt as you said and replace the whole set then.
is it ok to turn engine 6 revolution CCW?

Because Suzuki uses a nice T chain tensioner, it is fine to rotate backward. Check out " cheap fix 09 belt tensioner" under technical.

I just check the belt with 6-revolution CCW no problem belt is right on the edge of the bearing I guess no need to change the whole tensioner yet. but I will keep in mind to check the belt position. thanks again.

quick update on the tensioner:
after a short trip, I noticed some abnormal marks on the belt, and also metal cap is slightly moved. this time I decided to replace the whole set.

the tensioner has two 12mm bolts, the upper one is a little bit difficult to remove but with the help of OldTech's guide, I managed to get it out without removing the water pump assembly :)
