Suzuki dealer out of business

Already the dealer where i bought my kizashi from Last Year closed his doors lack of sales just shows the lack of advertising from suzuki thank god i traded my car back on june 4th for a gti to many issuses with that kizashi hope you all can resolve the issuses with suzuki

Which dealer was it? Where are you located? Was it a big dealer? Was this your first Suzuki? I haven't had any unresolved problem with our three Suzukis, including the Kizashi. I don't see any unresolved on your part.

Happened to me twice. They didn't close, just stopped carrying Suzuki, both claim because they could never get cars. This is in Houston, the 4th largest city in the US, now down to 2 dealers and both on the very north side of town. If I had known this, I would have bought something else I think

Termination of a dealer usually takes a while, as does replacing the dealer. First sign of a possible termination is that the dealer isn't getting many new cars. Suzuki consolidated its dealer network.

When the dealer we used for our first XL-7 (Trebour in Denville, NJ) stopped carrying Suzuki, another dealer in our area (Green Brook, NJ) was thereby encouraged to carry more Suzuki cars and it presently carries far more than Trebour ever carried. The Green Brook selection is excellent.

You never know what is causing a dealer not to get additional cars. There may be financing problems in the dealership or a pending sale of the dealership for example. About the time Trebour stopped carrying Suzuki, the Trebour dealership (still dealing Fords) was sold and it also made other changes. Perhaps Suzuki did not approve of the new owner, as suggested by the salesman with whom I spoke.

Regardless, in South Houston, Suzuki evidently has an opening for a dealership. If you have an extra $10 million or so to get started, why not apply?

south carolina greenville dickbrooks my issue with the kizashi was never resolved thats why it was sold! paint chips well over a dozen and ahalf some of them were down to the metal. dealer reply cant help you on that! owned about a dozen new cars never saw a car chipping the way this one did. and im driving on clean roads not gravel roads. so thats my beef with suzuki spent 21500 in june of 2010 and sold it for 17500 on june 4th 2011

Interesting. Hope you have better luck with your replacement. Looks like the Dick Brooks Suzuki just opened in mid-2010 and then it closed? Did it recently replace it with a Honda franchise?

From what i've seen there just selling used cars. showroom is empty and not one suzuki on there lot.

Odd because the first hit you get is for a Honda dealership by the same name, listing not only Honda but a number of Suzukis. See http://www.dickbrookshonda.com/greer-ne ... 925772-263 If they had an opportunity to go with Honda, who could blame them?
