I would have bought the same coloured Kizashi, but the silver looked so much better sitting next to the white. The silver isn't too bad in the sun.
In HSV, the heat is the same--except most of my cars are black.

Silver looks very nice on the Kizashi. I never ran across one in all my searches for one nearby. But my wife loves black too, so it was fate.

Fastest mom car in the neighborhood sitting in my garage...

Maybe pics tomorrow. It is F-in cold tonight.

Blizzard + the gas company blew a natural gas line so they asked everyone to turn their heat down to 55F. -50ish wind chill tonight so yeah my bedroom is a little on the cool side.

Gray.

Snow tires should be in Tuesday but with the current conditions I'm thinking Wednesday.

So which trim did you get? I've heard the turbos are only offered in CVT but I did not verify this.

I had a nice long response written and I inadvertently closed the window...

Yes it is a CVT, but it is the best one I have ever driven.

It is well behaved and I'm confident the Forester would make my stage 2 saabaru work to keep pace up to 100 after that I think the saabaru would just keep going and the forester is probably limited since they only put H rated tires on it.

The stock tires on it are 18" Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400s which are made for comfort rather than handling and speed. We'll see what I think of them once summer roles around. They are total crap on ice.

I should be getting a set of Michelin X-Ice Xi3s tomorrow. Once I have those I will have a lot better idea of how the car really does in the ice and snow. The stock tires were not much fun as I managed to do a few 4 wheel skids with the car. I wasn't impressed with the control I had when I did it. The computer systems in the Forester are not happy when the car goes sideways even a little.

Oh, very nice!
I love me them Subarus.

Interesting how they did away with the hood scoop for the intercooler on the Forester. I was going to ask where they put it until I scrolled down and saw the photo where it's still sitting on top of the engine. I guess they are reserving the scoop for just the WRX and STI?
