There's more than a hint of Optima in it too.

The rounded trunk maybe, but some Fusion/Sonata/Optima hints as well.
I will take a close look at this as a possible next car (the Kiz lease is up in June) as it is available with AWD.

I'm glad someone posted about the new 200. While I did not originally see much Kizashi in it, I kind of do now. However, you can tell there is quite a bit of Audi influence.
I'm really liking this 200 design. A vast improvement over the current 200. I think Chrysler is on a role with quality and design. The Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango, Ram, 300, and now the 200 are all pretty nice. Although they are now Italian-owned despite the bail out, I think these cars deserve a look.
The new 200 will have AWD standard for the Pentastar V6. You can get a 4 cylinder in FWD.

I don't see Kizashi, but I do see a lot more Lexus ES and a little Audi A7 in the fastback C-pillar

I can't see it driving anything like the Kizashi though.

Its built on the same Alfa platform as the Dart, which is good. Anxious to read a road test review.

The trunk lid is more specifically what i was referring to. I have only seen that line used in the kizashi and the last gen infiniti g35

The 200 sounds interesting- is RHD production on the table? I wonder if we'll get it in Australia? We used to get the Neon and Sebring (<- yuck, why did they bother!?) But, from their poor sales, I get the feeling Chrysler might be hesitant to bring any further mid size offerings over here? The Dodge Avenger was also sold locally but their sales figures would make the Kizashi look like a Corolla!
