I'm sure there are....much like manufacturer's warranty on a vehicle.

I read through that "guarantee", and it's pretty much worthless.
If you watched the video on the link i posted, most of the people didn't have an issue with a "branded" title(which is what the guarantee supposedly covers), they had issues with previous severe damage which was not reported on the carfax. The smug smiling carfax automaton basically said "tough shit" when confronted with all the crap car fax screwed up.

So, in summation, buying a used car is risky and you shouldn't trust carfax to reveal any potential risk factors with the car. Caveat emptor.
