Hi

My name is Jolo, I'm from Santiago, Chile. And... well, the topic's subject says it all...

I'm thinking on buying a 2012 SLS Kizashi Sport FWD. Now I have an iPhone, an iPod Classic, and I know both would be fine on the Kizashi's USB port.

But, if in the future, what about switching to another device, that is NOT compatible with the USB port? That's why the importance of the Aux-In port, and something I can't understand why Suzuki is not considering...

Regards,

Jolo.

I Own a 2012 sls awd...I was bummed to find out(after I bought) that there is no 1/8 in aux jack:(....I have an iPhone as well but all my music was stored on a sandisk mp3 player...the USB port Really only works with apple products/USB stick drives...

but once u spend the 5 min to sync ur iPhone to the Bluetooth in the kiz u can play ANY audio via bluetooth(YouTube videos/slacker radio/music files. U can even skip through songs with the steering wheel controls.

Unfortunaltely, the Kizashi that sells in Chile doesn't include Bluetooth. Is very strange. All the rest equipment is ther.

Dou you know what are the limitations of the USB port with the iPhone or an iPod Classic? Only plays songs and albums, or playlists too? Let you choose from the iPod instead of the wheel controls?

Cheers,

Jolo.

Are you using this 3.5mm to USB cable? Is that really all it takes to get audio thru the usb port? That would really help if that all it takes.

No, I have an iPod connected and use the Bluetooth for music on my phone/pandora. But I have a friend that uses one in his avenger. I don't see why it wouldn't work for the Kizashi. It's only a few bucks, give it a shot!

Yeah, that just seems to simple LOL. Wish that did work, base stereo should definetly have that. Oh well, I'll have to continue using that crappy FM transmitter, LOL.

Most phones these days have a usb/phone charger all in one where the usb connects to dc convertor that plugs into your wall. I know for certain all HTC phones do this.
