Okay so yesterday night I changed my dome lights to LED's then today when I woke up I couldn't unlock the car with the key, I did use the regular key which unlocks it but not the remote key fob, so I go unlock it & in about 2 minutes the alarm goes on, & then the key goes on after the alarm was on for about a good 3 to 4 minutes. Every time I have to open the car I can't use the remote to unlock the car, because the remote won't work until the alarm goes on for some dumb reason & plus the dome lights don't go on anymore, neither can I start the car until after 3 to 4 minutes after the alarm goes on, but the dome lights still don't go on, & I have a service engine light on, can someone explain wtf is wrong with my car? Because this is the most tweakiest I've ever seen lol

I never got an alarm installed in it lol, that's how I bought the car
& every time I go open the car I have to use the actual key, wait for the alarm to go off for 3 mins & then I can start the car :/

try changing the dome light back to factory setting and see what happens
I experienced a similar strange reaction to some led lights I used on the tail lights. Nothing to do do with the alarm/immobilization feature, but next day I go to start the car and the the stock stereo screen would go completely blank when I would hit the brake. Went back and put my original LED's back in and no problem. This car has some very sensitive power/communication buses. Slightest change in impedance/resistance/voltage drops, the electronics start acting weird.
The led's that did work, originally and are back in service where from superbriteleds.com
There style uses an electronic driver to change the lights from a low level when the lights are on, to a high level when the brake is applied.
Unfortunately these lights have a draw back as well as they cause some static over the FM channels when the brake is depressed. Besides that they do work perfectly without any other strange side affects.
The dome light is one of those lights completely contolled by the ECU. Including that is has a timed dimming function. I'll bet that just doesn't work with the LED's.

So I just can't change my dome lights? Lol I just want them white & I was thinking of gettings these http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-PCS-White-12V ... 581wt_1398 because now I have regular rectangle 12 SMD LED's but with the converter thingy's, maybe it's because they're not the right wattage or something, I'll go try to change them to the factory ones then & I'll see how it goes!
