Rectangle black things

I JUST bought a 2011 kizashi a couple of days ago and love it! I was doing a little detail work on the body today and noticed there were 4 little rectangular looking black things (they look like they may slide?) near the top of each door. Just curious, what are they and what do they do?

On the black strip? They're for attaching roof racks. You can push down and slislide them out easily :) congrats on the new kizashi!

As Wonson92 stated, they are the covers for the roof rack mount housing. They contain drilled brackets for bolting on the roof rack that Suzuki sells as an accessory.
