I have them....nothing special, just plain black rubber molded as a tray to fit the foot-wells. Comes w/ retainer clips for fronts. Molded in "Kizashi". I recommend them for keeping the crud out of and preserving the not-so-stellar carpet.

Any benefit to them vs an aftermarket option like weathertech?

I just bought the genuine Kizashi floor mats from my local Suzuki dealer for $50. They told me they are selling all accessories they have in stock at cost. If they have to order something they would be a little more...

I looked at both the Kizashi mats and the Weathertech. The Weathertech are really nice, but SUPER expensive. Like I said, I got the Suzuki mats for $50 (front and back), Weathertech was going to be over $200 for theirs :o . They are nicer, but not that much nicer :P

I think you would be very happy with the Kizashi mats, they are heavy duty and have a raised lip to hold water and crud. The fact that they clip in is nice as well.

weathertech didn't make them for the Kiz back when I checked (nor the SX4 and there's far more of those running around). I had put in the request for both cars on their website back then. I se they are making them now from the post above. $50 is a great price for the OEM set. I paid close to $80 shipped back when I got mine.

I think the weather tec mats are way better than the rubber dealer ones. I looked at both an decided on the wheater tec because they fit better an are built much better - they fit the kizashi floor like a glove. My deciding factor was not price, the dealer ones were $90 at the time a couple months ago. I really liked the fact that the fronts an rear weather tec cover more area than the dealer mats, especially the rear mats because the wheater tec mats cover the rear hump. I carry my 3 kids back there an they do a good jo collecting snow an sand from their shoes. Tba factory rubber mats are ok for the front but kind of small for the back. The wether tec mats cost me $186 dollars delivered to my house. Now, having said that, if you are in a budget the dealer rubber mats for $50 dollars will do the job better than the carpet ones from the factory.
