The PA and Jersey Turnpikes are not scenic.
I think the best roads on the East Coast are up in Vermont and the Blue Ridge Highway in Virginia and North Carolina, from what I hear. I have not been on either, but want to.

Being from California, I have been all up and down the Pacific Coast Highway which looks a lot like BootyMac's photo in the parts north of San Francisco. I have driven though Oregon as well which has some of the most fantastic scenery in the US in my opinion.

My buddies who rode their Harley's cross country last year told me the ride through Yellowstone National Park was second to none.

Hwy 1 outta Petaluma CA to Points Arena CA was the scariest but most beautiful scenery I've ever seen .. Sad part I was ten when I went so I'd love to go in my Kizzy
