Door lock button

I've just had an idroid 8000 2din GPS unit put in my 2010 Kizashi. My problem is that now I can not lock the doors using the door button. I can lock it using the key FOB and I can unlock using either. Any suggestions?

Never heard of idriod but try puttin the factory radio back just to see if it works, if yes then u have the connections wrong on the 2din, make sure u using a wire harness Metra 70-1721, and that the wires that are not being used are crimp capped and not tape or exposed.

The two sound unrelated, unless a fuse was blown during the instal?

Thanks guys problem solved. It appears that the installers had inadvertently left the spare key behind the console when they fitted the unit. So it appears that everything was working correctly.

Dang those newfangled radio signals! Technology strikes again!

So what do you mean by "left the spare key behind the console when they fitted the unit"? The spare was in the din with the new radio, or did they throw it in the glove box or something?
