Never heard of idriod but try puttin the factory radio back just to see if it works, if yes then u have the connections wrong on the 2din, make sure u using a wire harness Metra 70-1721, and that the wires that are not being used are crimp capped and not tape or exposed.

So what do you mean by "left the spare key behind the console when they fitted the unit"? The spare was in the din with the new radio, or did they throw it in the glove box or something?
