Hello, I'm new here and made this account to check up some on this car since I have a female friend who drives one and she asked me to change her interior lighting for her. I want to do it as a surprise, but need to know what kind of bulbs the inside takes. I'm not too familiar with the dome light/reading light layout etc in this car.

I believe there's a couple dome lights, but are there reading lights and anything else that can be changed? I'd be getting them on superbrightleds.

As for the headlight question, she had the front end replaced and they did not adjust the headlights properly, one is pointing too high and looks like you have the brights on. Is it a simple screw I can adjust it with? I've leveled lights before, just don't know if I need a special tool or anything for this car.

It's a 2011

Welcome. The bulbs are easy to replace and there is a copy of the owner's manual somewhere on this site. That should tell you exactly which bulbs to use.
Also, make sure you get quality LEDs. Cheap ebay-type crap do not last long. They flicker and die a short while after. Been there, done that.

The lights in the interior include:
- The driver and passenger map lights.
- The front center light.
- The rear center light.
- The lights next to the vanity mirrors on both sides.
- The footing lights under the front doors.
- The trunk light.
- The footwell lights are LEDs and cannot be changed in color unless you solder on a new LED.

You can adjust the headlight height with a Phillips screwdriver easily like any other car. The side-to-side adjustment is harder as it's blocked by a plastic cover. However, you can remove the cover. I wrote up a DIY tutorial on that.

Good luck on the project... and the girl. ;)
