What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
Unfortunately, I didn't get to explore State College as much as I wanted to due to time constraints. I had more free time in Ithaca than in State College.krell wrote:Awesome road trip car. Did you stop at Meyer Dairy Store S Atherton St while you there in State College?.. great Creamery joint
However, I did spot some rich-kid cars around campus in State College. Spotted a bright green Lamborghini Aventador, a bright orange Maserati GranTurismo, and a white Audi R8 with a MT. The Lambo was driven by some Asian kid so I imagine he's the kid of millionaires in China. I heard that Lambo's engine rev blocks away. Show off.

Oh, that legislation has only just been passed in Canada? It's been in here for yearsbootymac wrote: it appears that the blind are now given driver licenses.

PS: I think a lot of drivers are deliberately "blind" - they are too impatient to wait/ give way and rely on other driver's evasive actions to avoid accidents.

You may want the VLEDS LED high/DRL bulbs I had. Those were stupid-bright as DRLs, especially when hooked up with inline capacitors. Oh, they will see you coming.bootymac wrote:I reversed some modifications today. I enabled the DRLs again as it appears that the blind are now given driver licenses. I also swapped the DRL/high beam bulbs from the Osram 65w to the stock Philips for longer life

On the topic of the high beams: I'm visiting Japan in 2 weeks and will buy some replacement H7s for the high beams as mine are now rather dim. I'm curious to see what they have out now.
I'm also planning to get LED bulbs there to replace most of the bulbs such as the mud/step lights, license plate lights, trunk, and interior.

I managed to do mine in situ - but it wasn't easy. They're a push fit, so gently tugging on the wires will get them out. Aligning them to get them back in is the hard bit. Looking through the headlight lense can help.

I ended up removing the high beam bulbs (via braille) to do it . The wire high beam bulb clips are a PITA and get tangled around the loom wires. It's not something you want to try unless you're extremely bored and have a lot of time to waste (with endless patience.)
Bumper off is definitely the best plan.
