I love the roof racks. Are they easily installed, do you use them or did they just come with the car ? It looks good =).
The Suzuki Roof Racks came with the car, yeah.
They're made by Whispbar Technology.
I don't use them, I just think they look awesome.
At the end of last summer, I decided to take them off, for the hell of it, but I just read on this forum that once you take them off, you risk the screw holes rusting out, because the screws removed the original paint when first screwed in.
.. so last week, I decided to put them back on, and there was only a little trouble with a few holes that rusted a bit, but nothing too difficult to handle. I had forgotten how much I liked them, once they were back on, so they'll definitely be staying where they're at, for a long time.
I'm not gonna lie, though.. the front rack definitely creates some wind noise.
It's not the end of the world, though.
Fashion before function, right? Hahaha..

26030 for me right now.
EDIT: Your gas even looks as filled as mine LOL
EDIT 2: Totally screwed up the mileage and didn't catch it. 26k corrected.

I have mine on too. I used my racks and bike module in the fall, but left them on since. I recently removed my bike module but left my racks on because I stripped one of the Allen heads on a bolt. I personally prefer the look of the car without the racks and it's also more quiet without them, but they aren't all that noisy. I plan on getting Torx bolts to replace the OE Allen bolts when I remove my racks. I find Allen bolts unsuitable for any automotive application given they strip out so easily.Connect4 wrote:The Suzuki Roof Racks came with the car, yeah.
