Wires in trunk??

Today I opened my trunk and decided to look underneath the truck man and discovered a few cut wires. Everything in my car works, but I'm wondering why were they cut and what do they go to. I'll post pics whenever I get the chance.

If you bought second hand, audio equipment that was removed or possibly trailer light wiring? I have no cut wires visible when I lift the trunk mat.
