Hopefully, the truth will bubble up to the surface at some point. It is not an inconsequential decision. I am inclined to wait on the 2016's to see what changes will take place, cosmetically and otherwise. I'm in the major information gathering process and in no hurry, since I don't need a car. I appreciate every ones feedback.
Buy a Cascada, preferably with the 190bhp diesel engine, it's a wonderful car. I recently got the 170 bhp version, and that's brilliant as well.
I bought my Kizashi new for $14K out the door in 2010. I was also looking at a Hyundi Sonata for approx $27k. I figure if I had bought the Sonata I would be in the hole with depreciation. Plus I still have the $13k difference in my pocket for my next car. So even if the four wheels fall off the Kizashi tomorrow I'm still ahead. Some day (if I get tired of the Kizashi) I have a good down payment on another car. In the next few years EPA mileage standards are going to get much tighter so we are going to see many changes in cars. I'm watching and waiting for something that really stands out for me but so far nope. I was kind of interested in the Subaru Outback. A friend bought one and let me drive it. I told him how great it was but I was really thinking, if I had bought a Outback I would really, really miss the Kizashi.

I'd personally get a Camaro, Mustang, or Challenger over the SS. Unless the 4 doors are absolutely necessary, I'd skip the SS given it's about to get discontinued and I'm sure aftermarket support is nowhere near the popular muscle coupes. Not to mention, if you want power, all of these offer V8 engines. They all get considerably better fuel economy too with V6 engines and the Camaro and Mustang now even offer turbo 4s if you wanted that. The SS is badass but too impractical in my mind and probably costs a fortune to insure.
Given we are talking about cars to temp us from the Kizashi, I'd personally go for a WRX, Mustang, Camaro, or the all new Miata. However, the Kizashi is too good to give up any time soon.

Kuro, if it's about to be discontinued, if its like the g8, the price will stay steady and wont depreciate past a certain level. If I could have gotten a g8 for what I got my Kiz for with lowish miles I definitely would be on another forum right now. Lol
I like the look of the g8 (not so much the ss though) power to boot, and the sound! Space was good, more than enough for me.
As far as a Miata, those are best had used, let the original owner take the hit and then you get a really fun car thats practically new for a portion of the cost.

KuroNekko, I do need the 4 doors and secondly, I am mature person who wants to drive an age appropriate car. I owned a 2009 Honda Civic Si and that got old winding it out each time to get any thrust. The SS sedan appeals to me for it's sleeper nature. I've also thought about the Subaru Sti but that ridiculous spoiler is a turn off. Presently, the Kizashi is the best fit. But, Like I said earlier, I've never owned a true "high performance" car. Yes, it's true it'll be discontinued, but so was the Kizashi.
That and the enormous grin that appears on your face making you look like a bad plastic surgeon had at ya!LPSISRL wrote:4 doors? How about a Charger Hellcat? Even gets decent highway mileage. I can't even imagine what happens when you hit the gas. (besides the gas gauge dropping at a precipitous rate)
