Does the shop not care about reputation at all? The place I go to messed up my wheels when doing a complimentary detailing following a repair so they repainted them on the house. The shop cared about its customers satisfaction and Yelp ratings so they wanted to set things straight. They also knew I recommended the shop to others so they didn't want to compromise that. I've met a number of professionals ranging from auto body shop managers to plumbers who really care about their good Yelp ratings and any issue that would affect it. Maybe use this as leverage? That paint job is flat-out unacceptable. I think Progressive would agree.kconklin33 wrote:The issue I see with that is because of where I live there are no insurance preferred shops (Progressive) therefore I doubt the insurance will pay again to have it painted but is something I will be looking into more.

Every body shop I've had paint work done at provided a certificate of lifetime warranty of their work against defects. I'd be mad if my paint was peeling like yours is, that's unacceptable no matter who footed the bill.

Great info! I never knew it was this good. I'll have to seriously consider this for my cars.ragmopp01 wrote:I have that 3M paint film on both my vehicles. The Kizashi is 5 years old next month and the front is still perfect. My truck is 10 years old and not a single paint ding where the 3M film is. Expensive? Yes! But if you plan on keeping the car any length of time AND you don't want paint chips all over the front of your car, then this is the way to go.

I don't know what a bra nosed mask is, but would I be correct in presuming they come with nipple pouches ?
Only in the UK it would.paininthenuts wrote:kconklin33 wrote:I've posted on the classifieds but I'm in need of a bumper bra/nose mask. Really looking to get one before the fall/winter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if any one knows where I can just buy one new that'd be great as well.

I just found this on eBay. The seller is a bra manufacturer in Germany. It wouldn't hurt to contact them to see if they might make something for the rest of the front of the Kizashi.
