In dire need of an Inner tie rod
Hi I have a 2012 Kizashi Sport CVT and I need an inner tie rod . I've looked at the sites mentioned here and it seems I have to buy the whole assembly. My only other option seems to be to buy a used rack and use that. I am in North America . Any help would be appreciated thanks .

You're right. They want you to buy the whole Power Steering assembly to get an inner tie rod. Your best bet is to contact salvage yards or used parts sites to try locate one. I'm not familiar with any off the top of my head, but I know a few members here know of some.

I am next door to an auto wreckers who have a Kizashi. Only thing is, I am in Perth, Australia. I don't know if they ship to the US or even if they have the part you need but if you want to give them a try, I am happy to assist where I can.

Car-part.com is where my local yard sent me for parts
There's a clearing house called junkyarddog.com. Put in your part and info and the recyclers across the U.S. contact you if they have the part. I've used them several times with good success although not for my Kizashi.

Sorry for the delayed reply been busy. I ended up buying one from ebay for $105 free shipping from NY and it's fixed now. The replacement was straightforward watched a youtube video ( chrisfix "How to Change Tie Rods" ). I rented the inner tie rod tool from an auto parts chain *free if returned within 2 days. Afew things I ran into just incase anyone else needs to do this . 1. There is a clip claming on the tie rod use a flat head and a hammer and unbend them enough to put the tool on properly . 2 after you replace it and test drive it you might get hill hold and eps disabled error. I got scared and thought I might need to replace the whole rack. I read up on how the Bosch system works and turned out it uses the steering wheel angle sensor (along with a few others) and I know it needs an alignment (Steering wheel was not straight when I was going straight ) and the so I adjusted the alignment (tow?) so the steering wheel is straight when going straight and now everything is good . Now I just need to take it in for a proper alignment. there are a few slimmer looking tie rods from moog (in the US anyways ) so incase anyone wants to try and find a replacement I put up some pics. The inner tie rod is around 7 3/4 inches . Thanks for all the suggestions .

Hi, apologies for reviving an old thread but I am in the same boat. Could you share the link from where you purchased the inner tie rod.
