Kizashi 134 KW vs 138 KW
No doubt...we've all surmised it, however, it won't be available in any public, 'official', print anywhere.

I'm with WESHOOT2. Even when using "manual" with the paddle shifters the launch is no better.WESHOOT2 wrote:Suzuki purposely limited available torque during launch of CVT models to enhance the Jatco box's longevity.
I wonder how it would fare with the good 'ol neutral drop?

I simply think this info is just wrong. It's not even from Suzuki. While there is a slim possibility that Suzuki tweaked the performance of the Kizashi after 2014 (but why?), I have strong doubts. The only real official power difference in the specs have always been between the manual transmission models (185HP) vs. the CVT models (180HP). Keep in mind that by 2014, Suzuki pulled out of the North American (well, US and Canada) market which the Kizashi was created for. Hence, they knew the car was going to get axed with no replacement given the exodus of the North American market in addition to poor sales globally. This only goes to support that Suzuki very likely did not tune the engine in the later years.

the answer is that HP differences a small bit from the dutch PK, german PS and French CV
the kizashi is 178PK in my country and 178 PS or CV in other countries and that is 185HP
(i dont know about the 180 and 182..that seems like incorrect)
