Bought the new Joe Satriani CD yesterday (in New Hampshire :drive: ), got down the road a bit, and fired 'er up!

Except the music only played through the center front and rear sub.
Altering my route to one with a more 'aggressive' surface had the other speakers occasionally resume working; worked on and off this morning.
Crap.
Quandary.

An easy thing to check for lose connections would be the amp in the trunk. Otherwise the next place to start searching for lose connections would be the back of the head unit. After that it could be the head unit itself. Circuit board fractures or cold solder joints.

All bad.
Very very bad.

Last night a deer ran into the drivers side, from hood to rear door.
I'll be finding out if it's fixable soon........

Yikes. Sorry to hear about that but glad you're fine (assuming since you're posting).
Given the mileage and the difficulty of finding parts, do you think the car will be totaled?

OUCH! Hope you're doing well. Given the speeds you travel, that deer, and Kizashi is totaled. :(

And we need some pics of the car-nage.

oh man that's a serious downer, especially for the consummate Kizashi guy. Glad you're in one piece, sorry for your Kiz.

I was actually traveling near the posted 55MPH limit.

Bumper, headlamp assembly, hood, both doors, front fender, tire and maybe wheel, perhaps some suspension pieces; assume it's totaled. Insurance adjuster will be on site to assess, hopefully tomorrow, and give me a clue.

Wife's in Israel for a few more days, so at least I got the CRV.

So I drove down to the local Subaru dealer and sat in a 2018 Impreza Sport sedan.
I have no idea what I will end up doing..........except it's hard to climb in and out through the passenger side.........

Ouch, bummer!

At least you should eat well for a month.
Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms
Should be a convenience store, not a government agency
