Does anyone know if a 2012 steering wheel will fit on a 2013 model ?

Is there a difference between a awd steering wheel and a non awd one ?

Can the controls from a awd model w/bluetooth fit on a non bluetooth non awd basic rim ?

I don't think the steering wheel on the MT models have paddle shifters.

If a wheel doesn't have paddle shifters on it can paddle shifters from another wheel be transplanted onto the bare wheel frame?

I've you don't have cruise control (manual or CVT), adding a wheel with the controls will add cruise. If you have a CVT and want paddle shifters, adding the wheel with paddle shifters will give you paddle shifters. Alternatively, you can just branch off the wiring harness and add your own buttons.

Do all cars have the wiring for cruise/bluetooth /paddle shifts as standard ready to be connected to the appropriate controls?

Can cruise /bluetooth /paddle shift controls be transferred from your wheel to a bare bones wheel that didn't have them before ?

What I mean is, if I have a basic no frills wheel from a fwd model and have it re-skinned/upgraded can I fit it to my awd sports model and fit all its controls to the new wheel ?

Paddle shifters are a CVT equipped GTS/SLS model 'thing'. That said, I wouldn't know why a no-frills steering wheel from a base S or SE wouldn't physically bolt on. No idea about if/how any other wheel mounted controls would, or wouldn't, operate. ie are the underlying harnesses different and/or any other electronic pairing issues (which ya always have to be concerned about anymore). The base steering wheel assemblies between the models would be different p/n's I'm sure. The air-bag module would likely be transferrable. I'd have to look at the parts book at home to confirm/deny my suspicions. It would also list if the wiring harnesses were different between the models.

instead of buying expensive paddle shifter from ebay I simply use 2 push button key and connect to steering wheel connector and works just fine for me.

Saeed and ronzuki thanks for the inputs.

Ronzuki you mentioned looking up things in a parts book.

What book is this and where can I get hold of one ?
