The first thing I would do would be to reset if you haven't already so that it's only showing what your consumption is and not combining it with the previous owner's travels. Just hold down your display lever while you're on that screen and it will reset it.

That being said, I do a lot of spirited driving mostly around town, and that number is pretty much in line with what I get.

Last 50km I traveled very calmly at a steady speed, and the fuel consumption level dropped by only 0.1l. What could be the reason for such a high combustion despite the driving style?
Do you reset it when you fill the tank? If that average is over a large amount of distance it will take a very long time for it to change. When you reset it you can see huge swings in the average since it is an average of a much smaller distance.

I have reset the fuel consumption counter. I went for a ride around the city. A lot of crossroads and lights. I drove 30km very calmly and the combustion came out 12.1l. Looking at what you write should be much smaller. any ideas?

When I'm just puttering around, and am super easy accelerating from a dead stop, I can do much better as in 30-31 on the HUD. Haven't seen that in years though simply because my commute the past 3+ years no longer allows me to drive that way. (horns would be lasting constantly behind me). I don't drive in cities very often, but when I do, it does goes down , but only a tick or two on the HUD and depending on how long I'm in that type off traffic. I reset my avg display on the HUD every couple/few tanks. Not religious about it...

Maybe check the tyre pressure. It should be 2.8 to 3 bars. I give it 3.0 to 3.2 (around 40psi)

And check if the rear brakes are ok. They can get a little stuck sometimes due to never braking, just after washing the car and agressive wheelcleaners dont help. If you jackup the car and try to rotate the wheel by hand. It must be very easy to rotate. This happend to me last week.

All maintenance is done? Like air filter for example

All good points to bring up...I assume these routine things are always being checked on (as I do), but suppose I shouldn't assume.
