Rockford Fosgate
I needed to get gas this morning, and when the guy came up to fill the tank (in Oregon you do not pump your own gas) I told him to fill it with regular. Then I went into the store to pay. As I was paying the guy outside that was filling up my tank, came into the store and told the man behind the counter that silver car out front had a Rockford Fosgate stereo. The other guy said ' I gotta see this'. So as we went outside he said, 'see that Mustang over there, I paid $3K for my Rockford stereo." I told him it came standard in my car, but it probably was not the same as the one he had. He was very impressed, mostly with the stereo, but the car also. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I seldom turn the radio on....
hahaha while thats pretty cool and all, i doubt the quality of rockford fosgate stereos that comes standard on our cars vs his that he paid 3k for are the same. Just as there are different classes of headphones and speakers, the stereo is no different. You get what you paid for.
