The rotors actually come off with M8 bolts. It works much better than taking a hammer to the rotors.
The Kizashi Service Manual also instructs you to use M8 bolts to remove the rotors.

Yeah I've done that before. Did it on my sx4. I wasn't trying to save the rotors this time around so I just smacked them.

I always put some grease on the hub before reinstalling the rotor. The factory doesn't do this (obviously). Just a little coating. If you do this, the rotors will come right off the next time you go to remove them. I also put a little on the surface that contacts the wheel. Helps prevent the corrosion that occurs between the steel and aluminum.
