I know very little about the Kizashi's CVT given I personally own a 6 speed manual. However, I came across this website a while ago that covers the issues typically found in the JATCO JF011E in other vehicles, but that's the same CVT in the Kizashi.
Hopefully, the info in this technical article can help. It does discuss some of the issues that Kizashi owners experience such as the delayed shifts between Drive and Reverse.
