Got keyed
Just found a huge gash on my trunk lid. Clearly a key mark... dont know whats wrong with people these days... they see a shiny new car and first thing they think is to key it? I got no enemies, this is a family car. And this is on my black kiz, so the scratch really stands out. just wtf... sad day...

That's the kind of crap that scares me. In fact, last night, I went to the grocery store and parked away from everyone. Some dipsh*t then pulls up his van right next to my Kiz. I look over and see about 6 people in the van. It pisses me off that everytime I park away from everyone to avoid dings/scratches, some moron parks right next me.
(It reminds me of back in the day when I went stag to go see a movie by myself and sit away from everyone. Some idiot would come and sit down right next to me and invade my personal space when they could have gone and sat anywhere else.) It's the same thing. There will be 25 other empty parking spaces, and some moron will park right next to me. It's like they gravitate towards other people and other cars.
I immediately pushed the start button and moved to a different spot. I hate to re-start my car back up just to move, but I just had a feeling that one of the idiots in the van would ding my doors. I've been lucky so far that I haven't gotten any dings or scratches.

People have no respect. I would be upset too. I was raised to never mess with someone elses car.

Sorry to hear that.
I usually park FAR from other cars. Yes, I walk longer but I want to minimize the risks. Even in my former 6 years old car I used to do it, but then, that baby usually looked better than the new cars close by

Sorry to hear that. That sucks bigtime.
Reminds me of one of my favorite bits of diologue from Pulp Fiction...
Lance: Still got your Malibu?
Vincent: Aw, man. You know what some f*cker did the other day?
Lance: What?
Vincent: F*cking keyed it.
Lance: Oh, man, that's f*cked up.
Vincent: Tell me about it. I had it in storage for three years, it was out for five days and some d!ckless piece of $hit f*cked with it.
Lance: They should be f*cking killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution.
Vincent: Boy, I wish I could've caught him doing it. I'd have given anything to catch that a$$hole doing it. It'd been worth him doing it just so I could've caught him doing it.
Lance: What a f*cker!
Vincent: What's more chicken$hit than f*cking with a man's automobile? I mean, don't f*ck with another man's vehicle.
Lance: You don't do it.
Vincent: It's just against the rules.
Sums it up I think.

Parked my brand new silver Kizashi sport in an empty parking lot and walked over to the Walmart lot nearby. As I walked back, I saw a pick-up truck park one foot away from my car in a still empty parking lot. I rushed to get my car out of the way, and he couldn't even wait for me to leave before opening his door. What is wrong with people!?
That is just senseless. So far I have had good luck with my Kiz, only a minor scratch from someone's door. But when I bought my previous car, brand new, I parked it WAY BACk in the back of a BestBuy parking lot. It was literally at least 15 empty spots from any other car. When I came back I saw that some a-hole had pushed a shopping cart into the side of it. They must have rolled it from a distance and tried to hit it. I was so pissed that I picked the cart up over my head and threw it. It probably was a pretty funny scene from afar, but I wasn't laughing at the time.
People never fail to disappoint.
