Re: The End of My Kizashi
Thanks everyone. KuroNekko: no plans to replace at the moment. I'm working from home full time until at least August and my wife is about 50/50 so we are fine with just one car for now. Our other vehicle is a Murano lease that is done in November, so we'll need to replace that, too. We'll probably e...

The End of My Kizashi
Well, I've been meaning to post this for a couple months but wanted to wait until insurance stuff was settled and then get past the holidays. Back in October I was waiting to turn left less than a mile from home and was rear-ended by an F-150. My 2013 SE AWD (~67K miles) sustained significant damage...

Re: Looking to buy passenger orange marker light assembly
If it's the orange one on the bumper I was able to order a replacement through Monster Factory Parts. I just checked and they still have them:

Got my 10th notice for this in the mail yesterday, lol!
Can't fault them for being persistent, I guess.

Re: High beam and fog Lights?
Hum, the SE didn't come with factory fog lights so they may have been added by the previous owner. Maybe they screwed up some of the other wiring in the process.

Re: Under The Center Console
I store my sun glasses behind the assist handle above the driver's door window. Same thing I did with my SX4. I never use the handle and my sunglasses are always handy. The drop down in the console is never big enough. Elton John, is that you??? :geek:  I guess I use my trip odometers a bi...

Re: Awd cvt transfer case and rear differential
Yes, manual Kizashis were not available with AWD so no transfer case or rear differential oil changes needed. As for the guide, my other car is also AWD so I might be thinking of the one posted for it on that owners' forum. I do think the procedures are detailed in the shop manual, though, which is ...

Re: Awd cvt transfer case and rear differential
I'm pretty sure someone has posted a guide so search around. As for tips, I have a few: --Definitely spring for the pump that screws onto the top of the gear oil bottle as it will save you a lot of hassle. --I think you'll need more than just ramps to do the transfer/diff because I think the vehicle...

Re: Let's Figure Out the Headlight Bulb Issue
X2 KuroNekko on Morimoto HID in the stock projectors. Poor halogen bulb life in cars is more frequently from LOW voltage, not high. Halogen bulbs rely on enough voltage to excite the gas, if you don't have enough, you'll just cook the filament. The solution is usually a relay harness, but with all ...
