Hey Chelsea, it was indeed a minor faukt of a fuse. Tge car's clocked 74000kms and 3 years+ and runs beautifully! The A4 n 3 series don't really compare I personally feel as its the perfect power-luxury-compact mix which is hard to get now unless you spend double

May not be related at all but while discussing my car with the dealer the other day, he highlighted an incident where the starter/ignition turned out to be a factory defect and was replaced under warranty by Maruti Suzuki here in Delhi.

Perhaps worth getting it checked from Suzuki?

I believe either the dealer from whom you purchased can tell you OR suzuki itself. Try finding a contact in the company, email requesting this detail. Let us know if you stumble upon any.
