Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
Honestly, just take it to Discount Tire and get 4 new TPMS sensors, it's like $200 aftermarket installed for all 4. Mine have worked great ever since I did that, no issues except on really cold mornings/nights. Once the air in the tire warms up the sensors turn off. It's ridiculous to waste so much ...

Re: A/C Compressor Clutch Bearing
So as it turned out, there are 3 main bolts that attach the A/C compressor to the engine block, and then 2 bolts on top that connect the A/C lines (not 4, although there are 4 bolt holes). There is also a plastic wire clip screwed into the top of the A/C compressor in one of the bolt holes, and you ...

Re: A/C Compressor Clutch Bearing
I'm about to switch out my A/C compressor, clutch bearing went out a week ago and caused the belt to snap after I turned the car off due to the heat of the burnt up bearing. I would just switch out the bearing, but it doesn't look easy and I can't seem to get all of the a/c clutch off the compressor...

Re: Engine Rattling
Take the engine cover off and drive around without it, if noise goes away then that was your problem. Engine cover is only there for looks. It actually serves as engine noise insulation. That's why they have foam lining underneath the plastic. That is probably true, however I can't hear my engine u...

Re: Problems with TPMS on 2010 Kizashi SLS
Why would you want to buy used sensors and then have to deal with installing them yourself? Just go to Discount Tire and they will do the whole thing in 45 minutes. Its worth the extra $90 dollars and if something goes wrong they will resolve the problem for you. Plus, I think those things have batt...

Re: The Rockford Fosgate 'Sound'
I don't have the navigation system in my car, in fact that's the only option I don't have in my car, and I think the existing RF stereo sounds great, amazing bass. Best system I've ever had in a car. Now, that is coming from someone who drove a 98' TJ for over 300k miles over the last 15 years, so p...

Re: Problems with TPMS on 2010 Kizashi SLS
Don't waste your money on Stealership sensors, I got 4 installed for $190 including rebalancing @ Discount Tire and they said come in anytime and the will rotate my tires for free until I need new ones since I had work done there...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
Well, the problem was that the error message I got was 'TPMS not registered'. Even the dealership could not get them working. They wanted $1200.00 for new sensors installed. I flipped them the bird and took my car to Discount Tire. They tried several things over a few day period (their store is next...

Re: Odd rumble when giving Kizashi gas from complete stop?
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I live in Denver, and 85 is the norm here. So funny thing, my previous car was a 98 Wrangler, 325k miles. I loved to work on that car. Anyway, I opened up the hood on the Kizashi tonight while I was in the garage, and although I was very intimidated by this 21st cen...
