Re: Rear Shock failure - remedy!
Yes - my UK 2013 Kizashi had new rear shocks in Feb '14 under warranty. Left hand side had become noisy, I mentioned the TSB but whether it applied to UK or not I got new shocks at no charge. First visit they tried a fix as suggested by Suzuki UK but weren't happy with it so it went back in for new ...

Re: Trunk release - internal
On LHD is the starter to the left of the wheel next to the four auxiliary switches ? If so after you have removed the lower dash panel the switch panel just pulls forward out of the dash. The dash moulding with the starter and switches together.

Re: What if you were to lose your Kizashi?
I was looking to trade my Kizashi this week for a Mazda 6 Sport Nav. Until I got the value of the Kizashi, rarity does not help residual values! I love the Kiz but not the fuel economy, reckon I could almost double it in a Mazda 6. But as it is worth so little I might need to run it a while longer -...

Re: Boot Opening (trunk to you yanks )
Remove panel below dashboard, two screws underneath and clips at the top. Then pull the panel with the starter and 4 switches out, it comes out forward. Then look through the hole where the 4 switches were. Fastened up at the right hand side, with a cable tie which is clipped to a hole in a metal fr...

Re: Trunk release - internal
I found and connected the trunk release plug, all working now. The panel holding the start button and the four other switches just unclipped after the lower panel had been removed.

Re: Finally, the dreaded creak from the rear has gone!
I got new rear shocks on my UK Kizashi yesterday too. I showed the dealer the TSB and they did it as a warranty job. The left side had got a bit thumpy, versus the right side which was quiet.
Either that or I had something loose in the boot.....
