Re: Trading in or selling my Kizashi
Thank you for your insights. Always appreciated.
Btw, I did get my exhaust repaired for $432.00. Thank you to all of you who encouraged me to get a second opinion.
I'm still on the path to selling it.

Re: Trading in or selling my Kizashi
Is $5,000.00 to high an asking price even though Kelley Blue Book estimates it as that price for a private party sale? Any thoughts?

Re: Trading in or selling my Kizashi
As for the price... It is negotiable. $5,000. This is what the Kelley Blue Book says it is worth in a private party sale. Used car prices are rising as much as new car prices. If you are interested, but not at $5,000. Let me know. I'll keep it in mind. I'm looking to sell by 1/6/2021. I will also tr...

Re: Trading in or selling my Kizashi
I placed a deposit on a 2022 Hyundai Tuscon Hybrid (SEL Convenience). I do really like my Kizashi and having a unique car. It has served me well.

Re: Trading in or selling my Kizashi
Thank you for recommending a second opinion. I found a place near my home that will fix it for less than $500. I am still looking for a graceful exit to my Kizashi journey. Here are some photographs of the car. I took the exterior photographs about a month ago. I took the interior photographs a few ...

Trading in or selling my Kizashi
Dear Kizashi Club Members, My 2011 Suzuki Kizashi (AWD, CVT) just hit 125,000 miles, but last night, my exhaust developed issues that will cost $3,000 and months (to order the parts) to resolve. It is time to say farewell to my Kizashi. I will trade it in with my next car purchase (who knows where i...

Re: It finally happened...possible CVT faiure
I ran across an ad awhile back for a 2013 Kizashi awd for sale with a bad transmission. He had it it listed at 273k miles and asking $2000... I contacted him and he said miles were correct and it was the in fact the original transmission... What maintenance was done? He replied 2 complete fluid flu...

Re: It finally happened...possible CVT faiure
I give credit to those preceding me who had done the research, detective work, and performed the service on their own. I've tucked the Kiz in to the garage this week for winter (for the most part) and it's sitting at a little over 91,500 miles. I will say, as much as I love the Kizashi, if the tran...

Re: It finally happened...possible CVT faiure
OT, so what causes whining when there is absolutely no debris in the screen? That was my situation prior to its first ever fluid change at 80k miles (3 drain/fills). Perfectly clean screen and magnets had smooth, metallic grey, goo (no bits or pieces at all). Now, at almost 10k on the 'new' fluid, ...
