Re: deer is venison, kizzie is toast

With a heavy heart, I report that a deer attacked my Kizzie and caused so much damage that my insurance company wrote it off. They gave me very close to the Cdn blue/black book value. This is "yezzaboss" signing off this excellent forum ==================== Why would an insurance company ...

Re: have I made a mistake

I no longer have a Kizi, but pop in from time to time. I now have a Vauxhall Cascada, which is a lovely looking soft top, and technically a better car. That said, I enjoyed my time with the Kizi more. I miss it's growl when I pressed the gas, I miss it's mid range acceleration, and despite the U.S m...

I think that damage will come out with a really good scratch remover

Re: The Kizzy makes top list for Teens (Again)

That test should be an update (renewal?) on the test they originally took before being allowed to have the child in the first place. Yes please! There's too many kids without parents these days. ====================== This is digressing, but in the UK we have far to many people. Not enou...

Re: She's Dead Jim

$9000 for a new CVT is absurd. That's about twice the value of your entire car with a working transmission with that mileage. Can't blame you for ditching the car. ===================== This all alien to me. I never keep a car once it reaches two years. I never keep a car that has done more than 20...

Re: The Kizzy makes top list for Teens (Again)

With all due respect, whilst the UK is pretty damn stupid giving kids licenses at the age of 17, the States are more stupid by giving a juvenile a license at 16. In the UK in 2012 there were a total of 230 deaths on the road caused by drink drivers, however there were over 1500 caused through sober...

Re: The Kizzy makes top list for Teens (Again)

That's a fine but impractical idea. Taking in to account the vast 'ruralness' of this country and lack of mass transit in those areas...not practical by any stretch. Proper upbringing and being taught life skills, right & wrong, values, responsibility and accountability amongst many other thing...

Re: The Kizzy makes top list for Teens (Again)

I agree with the general consensus on safety and what's a suitable car for a teen. I don't think the latest gizmos for safety are necessary and wouldn't be a parent rushing out to buy my teen a brand new Volvo S80. However, I think the safety components that are now standard on cars sold in the US ...

Re: Note to Suzuki

The Baleno looks amazing. If the Kizi had originally been given a different engine, and in the UK, a manual box, I believe they may still be building it now. I find it sad they gave up so easily. A diesel unit, and a 1.6 turbo petrol would have been ideal.

Re: ISO Bumper Bra/Nose Mask

I've posted on the classifieds but I'm in need of a bumper bra/nose mask. Really looking to get one before the fall/winter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if any one knows where I can just buy one new that'd be great as well. I don't know what a bra nosed mask is, but would I be correc...
