Re: Torque converter - CVT lag issue solution?
I have no problem with acceleration off the line. I simply stomp the gas pedal. It doesn't do the neck snap thing, but I have no problem with initial acceleration.

Re: Windshield Wiper Blades
I used the 420A on the passenger side. Not sure what the differences are, but they seem to work as designed and don't have issues with freezing up and clogging after driving in snow.

"When you pull the relay for the DRL's you disable the high beams." This is a common issue with DRL systems; do some experimenting. On Saturn L series, you could disable the DRL by clipping (or bending out of the way) one of the blades. I'm not sure what the cost of DRL relays are, but if ...

Re: Squeaking noise from rear, seems cold weather related
Mine does the same thing. Seems to be worst when temps are below 25f. There are enough bushings in our rear suspension that nailing it down would be really difficult. I'd look at control arm bushings where they mount to the body. I've successfully quieted squeaky bushings with liberal applications o...

Re: Not a Kizashi "Good Omen"
Why would a dealer not want to promote a car they make their living on? My dealer had two Kizashi's in stock with the same color. They kept one inside the showroom and the other out of sight. I kept telling them to park them by the street so people driving by would see them. When they finally parke...

Re: oil level
For the most part I refuse to let anyone touch my car. Almost all shops are filled with high school dropouts with little training. I've had nothing but bad luck with them. Moto, perhaps you'd like to check out the actual level of training and experience of the techs in most franchise dealerships. M...

Re: Kizashi maintenance
K&N filters are designed to be cleaned and reused. They use a cotton type filter medium that is oil impregnated to trap the dirt particles. They don't filter the really fine particles, but flow better, allowing more air into the engine and more power out. If you carefully clean them once a year ...

Re: TPMS sensors- $45? No, but $50 each!
Winter tires have different rubber chemistry than all season (3 season) tires. If you've ever tried running a set of UHP summer tires such as Falken Azenis RT615 when temps get low, you'll know how the grip drops when the temps do. All season tires have a wider temperature range, but still drop off ...

JBlanchard. Keep an eye on your TPMS. They are sensitive to both over and under inflation.

Re: Not a Kizashi "Good Omen"
Suzuki is expecting their dealers to produce for them. Those who "skate" are being closed, and the franchises awarded to others who will promote the brand. Suzuki is spending money in markets where the dealers are growing the brand, and cutting those who are running it as a "red-heade...
