Re: 114 days; Part II
I install a set of KYB on my son's 2010 SE AWD and notice the damping is garbage. The Oem is shot front and rear at 94K miles. They do improve a lot from tired OEM but the rebound and compression valving are definitely more geared for comfort than performance. Too bad the KW coil over cannot be set ...

Re: Replacing ONE tpms
Yes, as long as they are compatible. I got one from discount tire. I did have to go back after about 15 miles. Seems to be a common thing to get it initiated twice for unknown reason.

Re: Knocking on right side of car
If the swaybar bushing is just a bit loose it would rattle. Mine was about 0.5 mm too big and it rattle like you describe. I was not sure either at that time so I remove the bushing and then wrap the bar with electrical tape to make it thicker. The noise was gone after I did that. Try that before ch...

Re: My 2010 Suzi won't start
There got to be a sensor that is getting flaky in the steering wheel lock mechanism. I notice that there is a solenoid pulling every time I press the start button. The solenoid slide must got worn or gummed up with dirt and not giving good signal that it was unlocked. This got to be simple to fix.

Re: Are these the bump stops?
Yes. That is the one. I still have clunking noise after replacing the leaky rear shock. Found out the swaybar bushing is loose. Wrap about 4 wraps of electrical tape around the swaybar to make sure its the problem before ordering new bushing. Confirmed that it was the source of the noise. Also notic...

Re: Are these the bump stops?
It same type of material like the original. It have to be able to compress to absorb the bump. Its pretty common material for bump stop. I just realise the KYB one does not have the slit on the side. The inner diameter is the main problem. The original are loose and allow dirt and moisture to collec...

Re: Are these the bump stops?
I bought KYB brand replacement bump stop and the foam upper part looks exactly the same. The bottom is a bellow type that can compress and i think that is better than OEM.

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
What people said about tire store reset procedure that come back after 15 miles is absolutely spot on. I have to get discount tire to do it the second one to have permanent fix. This is the most annoying thing from a few weeks of my kizashi ownership.

Re: Rear Shock failure issue and TSB & Warranty Repair
Hi. Just got 2010 SE AWD for my son and got the same leaky rear shock. I got KYB revised bump stop and it looks exactly like the OEM revised bump stop. Could not tell any difference with the shock valving. The current 215/55/17 touring tires are too cushy to notice any performance difference.
