Oh I would have to tow the car there?

My tranny just went in 2011 GTS....how much would it cost to ship it to RI? Right now the dealer I'm at says the lowest priced on they could find was $2,500. Not sure I will do it, I'm thinking of selling. I really love the car though, I would love to keep her.
