Windshields

As time goes on ,the Kizashi windshield has been harder to get . I had a customer just recently ask me where he could get one . I gave him the number of a glass place where I had one replaced just 4 months ago. He was told they couldn't get it . His Kizashi was not drivable. His son had hit a turkey...

Re: Trunk latch when emergency release handle is missing

Make sure the striker bolts are tight. Ive seen this problem before. About the glow in the dark safety release, it doesnt need to be there for the latch to work correctly.

Re: Tranny questions

If the vibration that you are describing is only happening as the wheels rotate the cause is almost for sure an internal failure of the transmission. If the vibration is there after just starting the engine and dropping into gear with foot on the brake, then look exhaust binding or incorrect alignme...

Re: Drivers door won't lock/unlock with fob

I have had the door lock motor go bad before. You need the latch assembly . I'd go used . I do have one for $40 +shipping but you may want to see what's available near you. Good luck.

Re: Engine removal out the top?

If you can get the engine to turn, then you can pull just the engine out the top but you must make sure the converter slides back before completely removing the last two bell housing bolts. When these engines ar...

It is most likely a fault in drivers main control switch. Best to try a used one.

Re: Catalytic converter part #?

Wow yeah cool idea! Thanks for the replying In my case, the issue is it's cracked, no problems with codes (yet.) The best the guy who looked at it could do is apply some muffler paste and buy me some time so I've started fishing around for a replacement. I don't recall him offering to do a weld so ...

Re: Catalytic converter part #?

What is the reason for replacing this catalytic converter. If it's for it being cracked, you can certainly repair it by welding it. If it's putting out a code of PO 420 this is best addressed by welding, an O2 bung back behind the second catalytic converter and lengthening the O2 sensor wires by 3 f...
