Re: Cheap fix 09 belt tensioner

If this top bolt head has been compromised , my plan would be to take the crank pulley off (with key way facing up), take the lower bolt out and put the wrench on the top bolt , pull gently while at the same time prying the tensioner by the lower portion and the top bolt will turn. Then try to hold ...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Today we took my wife’s 2011 light blue SLS Kizashi for a little ferry boat ride https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210505/3cccfacff4699a805de41408b3fa2966.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210505/64b2068268151c5e6563309475e953ef.jpg We were staying a week in the outer banks of North Carolina a...

Re: Kizashi Rims

Aftermarket rims are nice for looks and saving weight but usually are much more fragile and less corrosive resistant. I would also stay away from the ones that require the special thin walled anti -theft socket. It may not be a problem where you are but in my area , these lug nuts and rims corrode t...

Rear shock clunking

The O-ring trick should only be used if the cavity in the support is corroded and basically missing some material. I’m really in favor of replacing the poor parts with new although these parts are getting hard to come by in some places and expensive. The actual shock mount that houses the shock bump...

Re: Kizashi Paint Chip Problem !!!!

On the pearl White Kizashi I’ve only really seen the roof be subjected to this paint tearing off and mainly right around the windshield. The cheap fix here would be to paint the center section of the roof with a black Rustoleum spray paint that would look pretty good and hold up well. A repair at th...

Re: Rear shock clunking

At the top mount of the rear shock is the cavity in the upper support that the shock bushing fits snugly into or is supposed to. The cavity corrodes and the bushing can wear and fatigue . You will have to confirm the this is the area that the noise is from by by touching shock while someone else is ...

Re: transmission swap

The white plug case harness I think is Nissan or Jeep and is way more common in the rebuilders world . The black one is specific to Suzuki . The valve body is the same for all jf011e s although some early ones have a different grounding. I do have one of these and any other jf011e part.
