Re: fuel pump shut off switch
Well it's time to end this madness. This car and I were not meant to go together. I can't afford to sink any more money into this car. I have already spent too much time on it as well. It would have been nice but it just wasn't meant to be. Time to let go and move on. Thanks for the guidance and ass...

Re: fuel pump shut off switch
I bought it in March this year As Is No Warranty. I called the lot where I got it and informed him of the problem with the trans. The S.O.B. acted like I was trying to scam him or something. I did more extensive research on the Kizashis and then found things I wish I had known beforehand. In spite o...

Re: fuel pump shut off switch
I am in Dallas Texas. Do you have any experience good or bad with sealers that claim to fix head gasket and engine block leaks? I am tempted to try one of those before spending another $2000.

Re: fuel pump shut off switch
I guess the worries were completely valid. Hit the ignition switch and that ping pong ball started dancing for it's supper. So that pretty much means the head gasket was damaged and would need to be replaced. That is a pretty costly repair I believe. I don't think it is wise to put that much more mo...

Re: fuel pump shut off switch
There's not much in the radiator. Should I add some? How full should it be for the ping pong ball test?

Re: fuel pump shut off switch
New radiator and cap. Old cap had the gasket kinda melted. No gas smell. I will try the ping pong ball and let you know the result. Thanks for the help.

Re: fuel pump shut off switch
I bought the car used from a small used car lot back in March. I barely got it home. The codes pulled up stepper motor and a solenoid I replaced those and nothing changed. That is when I started reading on here. Complete trans rebuild $4300 in August. Seemed good. I was finally going to get to drive...

fuel pump shut off switch
I am new here and this is my first time to post. I hope I am not out of line in any way. I have a 2012 SLS with CVT. I am trying to find the fuel pump shut off switch or ( inertia switch ). Does this vehicle actually have one? If it has one where the heck did they hide it?
