Re: 114 Days: Pt IV Gettin' ludicrous
Thank you. I remember you too Kuro!! I will try to keep it relatively short. In 2015 I went from the kiz to a used 2015 GTI (non perf pkg) Autobahn DSG- I LOVED THIS CAR. As much as I liked the Suzuki, the GTI was much more spirited and fun due to the transmission and way it was set up. I am “oldish...

Re: 114 Days: Pt IV Gettin' ludicrous
My login still works!! It has been a while but every so often I lurk (mainly to check on what may be the longest running forum thread in the universe :0)) and I just had to log on to say hey to weshoot and all the others. I see some familiar names here still. I hope everyone is well!! Keep motoring ...

Re: Goodbye kiz..it was fun
Still thrashing for your reading pleasure....... I would be worried if you weren't . ;) You have an enthusiasm for driving which I lost but it has come back a bit. My driving has mellowed A LOT. I spent a fair amount of time back in the day trying to get out of tickets. Now I'm paranoid that I'll g...

Decided to add on to this thread-sorry to hi-jack but the title was fitting. Traded kizashi after 4.5 years with 161,000 miles on it for a white Certified 2015 VW Golf GTI DSG-Autobahn /light package, with 10,500 miles. It does NOT have the performance package, drivers assist package, or the adaptiv...

Re: Are the automatic shifter indicators illuminated??
Thanks for the replies I pried off the trim piece, and then tried yanking the bulb straight out. I should have known better. A gentle quarter turn did it. It was working so I didn't replace it. Yesterday I replaced both low beams. One had blown out. Has to be the fifth or sixth time for that, I lost...

Are the automatic shifter indicators illuminated??
I just noticed that the strip next to the shifter is not illuminated. I have had the car for four years, have 152,000 miles and I am pretty sure it is usually lit up. It is not the brightness adjustment-tried that. Everything else is lit. Fuse? Blown bulb(s) or is it always dark??? (i will be giving...

Re: Engine service light
I went through an evap code diagnosed (free)at a US auto parts store on another vehicle and then payed 125 USD to have a dealer "narrow" it down. They told me it was an evap canister. I ended up replacing the canister, a purge valve and the gas cap which in total were less than the 125 dol...

http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/cat/Chassis/C0106/C0336.oap?year=2010&make=Suzuki&model=Kizashi&vi=1446185&redirect=true Continue to search by part number. Try other dealers. You may have to go for a universal set. You would need to get measurements. Also, ask a repair shop for inp...
