Re: Engine died. Help
Thank you guys. Car has 69K miles. Mostly driving work-home on I-95 (My commute is 50 miles each way). No modifications to car. I had 30K and 60K servicing done at Suzuki dealer (who is now closed Suzuki dealership but still open servicing other cars). Have been pretty regular on oil changes. Sadly,...

Re: Engine died. Help
I am not sure what caused the overheat. Nothing got blown. Car just stalled. I am in Miami. I talked to Suzuki customer support and the dealer. Suzuki customer support says, the claim is denied and that is it. The dealer says, he can't do anything because it is the company that declined the claim. I...

Re: Engine died. Help
I just heard back from the dealer. He said engine overheated so bad that some parts seem to have partially melted. Suzuki denied my claim  . As a driver, I don't know what I could have done differently. I didn't notice the temperature going to red. No dashboard lights were on. What can I do? T...

Engine died. Help
I have 2011 Kizashi SLS. My car stalled on me in the middle of highway. I got it towed to Suzuki Service Center. They haven't yet given me complete picture but told me that I would need to replace the engine complete. I have been reasonably timely on oil changes and got both 30K and 60K servicing do...

Re: What's Everyone Paying?
Bought 2011 SLS CVT FWD with Navigation 3 weeks ago.
Sticker was 28060
Price Paid = 24500 - 1000 cash incentive (didn't take 0% interest rate) - 1000 competetive trade in = 22500 + TTL = 24000
To note I got a great great deal. No other dealer was within 2000 of this price.

Re: Finally bought one. few comments and questions
THanks tigerbangs. Downshifting helped a lot. It feels more responsive. I do need to learn to drive CVT. It was a good advice. Thankss.

Re: Should I buy a Kizashi? General Q's
I only had the car for less than a week. So far I am happy with the purchage. So far no paint chips. Again less than a week I got 310 miles on 12 gallons of gas on my first tank. 50 - 50 city higway. I would say gas milage is below average for 4 cylinder. Its not bad but could be better. I noticed h...

Re: Finally bought one. few comments and questions
For me actually the lag from 0 - 20 is not bad (may I was expecting heavy lag after reading lot of posts here) but I noticed a heavy lag from 35 - 50. Once it crosses 50 its not bad. I do drive agressively (but not crazy). Hopefully once it breaks in, it will settle. I will check tire pressure tonig...

Re: Finally bought one. few comments and questions
Its 2011 SLS FWD CVT with Navi. My sale price was 23500 - $2000 (incentives) = $21500 + 599 (dealer fees) + TTL. I bought in Miami. Thanks for info on sunroof. I think I got it closed completely. I have no option but to get used to the lag. I bought it knowing about the lag. So can't complain too mu...
